This is a fantasy tale that revolves around Aman an ordinary boy who is not happy with his life as his father is dead and declared a traitor of the country.
But things change when he is taken or rather kidnapped to a secret village where the lifestyle is totally different. He makes friends and accepts the journey he is on and realizes that a deeper plot exists and danger awaits the people around him.
This book is written beautifully and can be read in one sitting. Getting to know what exactly is the main plot takes some time but it is worth the wait. It ends with extreme suspense and I'm eager to see how book two handles everything. Overall, it is a unique and standalone book and is a must read for fantasy lovers.
