This is a book that I picked up at a book fair and I did not even read the blurb properly. I just felt like I need to read it and I did. And I enjoyed reading the book.
The story is based on true events. The beginning of the book contains introduction to characters and the plot is like a fairy tale where everything happens perfectly. And then things change drastically, Sehmat agrees to marry a Pakistani generals son in order to be a spy and help her Country, India. She leaves behind everything in order to accomplish her mission of service to the Country.
The book does get interesting after the first half, and is a wonderful read. More suspense could have been added to the plot though. And there are certain questions left unanswered which is a bit disappointing. Overall, it is a quick and good read.
